I asked you out

You said "Yes"

You confirmed the date/time

I got there first

I paid for the tickets gladly

You got there and smiled at me

I got really excited we were together finally

You told me about your day

I listened and smiled

You showed me your stash of band-aids, just in case

I laughed out loud and thought "how cute"

The show started

You made jokes during the show

I laughed

I made funny faces and noises during the show

You laughed

You wanted to meet my friends in the show

I gladly introduced one, two..and so many more to you

You laughed and chit-chatted to them all

I joined in and enjoyed many different conversations

You walked me to my car

I opened the door

You came in for a side hug

I didn't let that happen and put my other arm around You.

You asked for a re-do hug

I happily re-did

I started my car

You walked to your car

You watched me to make sure I made it out

You waved to me a few times

I smiled the whole way home
