Day 7: A picture of your most treasured item

This isn't my EXACT camera....but it's pink and kinda like it. I loooooooooove my camera and I don't know what I'd do without it. It's with me at ALL times. And the way that I received my camera....was a miracle. It was Christmas of 2005...I believe...maybe even 2006. And we (me, Mom and Add) were living in the apartment. Well it was Christmas time (obviously, I just said that) and I had told my boss (who I was super close with, and still am to this day) at work that I really wanted a digital camera. That was pretty much my only thing on my list to Santa. So it was getting closer to Christmas eve and Mom had already expressed sincerely that she would not be able to afford the camera. So I told Ryanne (boss) that it looks like it wasn't going to happen but that it would be okay because I would try to save up money for it. Now this part I can't remember....I don't remember if it was before or after Christmas, but one night there was a knock at the door. I got up and answered it and there was no one there, but there were gifts at my feet. I had opened the one addressed to me, and it was this pink camera. I loved it. I cried. And the Secret Santa had given the family a nice gift card to Wal*Mart. I of course brought the camera to work and showed Ryanne (who is a great photographer) and told her how excited I was and how grateful I was that someone had known and was willing to give this gift. So....fast forward...months and months and months to August (after that Christmas) and Ryanne and a few of my teammates threw me a "Going Away Party" because I was leaving SLC to go work from home in Cedar City. Well there was alcohol for the "of age" group and somehow Ryanne said, "I've got something to tell you...." and she said to me "it was me...who gave you the camera" and I immediately started crying. She is such an amazing woman in my life. She has always been there for me and is such a blessing. I call her a best friend for sure! (and not just cause of the gift) hahaha
